Stages

CP standard offers single-stage pumps.

Single-stage pumps

A centrifugal pump with only one impeller is called a single-stage pump. The impeller is mounted directly on the pump shaft in pumps with a mechanical shaft seal and on a bearing inside the pump casing in magnetic drive pumps where drive torque is transmitted by a permanent magnetic synchronous coupling. All energy transferred to the fluid is derived from the power of the motor force driving the impeller. Today, single-stage pumps are CP’s standard and used in most applications.

Multi-stage pumps

A multistage centrifugal pump is characterized by several impellers arranged in series. The flow is directed from the outlet of one stage to the inlet of the next, so that the total head of a multistage pump is the sum of the individual stages. Due to the series and multi-stage arrangement, the head of the centrifugal pump can be increased. Are you looking for a multistage centrifugal pump? CP has many years of cooperation in this field.
